DJ Archie is officially the world’s youngest DJ. He achieved the Guinness world record when he was just 4 years and 130 days old.

To break this Guinness World Records title, Archie had to play a music set unattended for a full hour to an audience of at least 20 people. To attempt the record and make it official, he took his talents to Hong Kong nightclub 'Bungalow', entertaining the enthusiastic crowd with an hour of classic house dance music.

The talented toddler was DJing from the age of two, first discovering his talent after watching his DJ dad John Norbury practice on his own decks in their home. 

Since then the young DJ has made a big impression in the music industry, playing at festivals including Boomtown in Hampshire and Clockenflag in Hong Kong, the O2, Ministry of Sound, Fire and Lightbox, as well as many more clubs all over England. Live radio sets include Centreforce, Rough Tempo, Mode FM, Pyro and Flex FM.

His biggest performance to date was at the Raver Tots Festival in Essex, where 7,000 people attended.

DJ Archie is enjoying developing his skills and is always learning new tricks from his DJ dad, with nearly 29,000 followers on his Instagram page already, he is one to watch. 

Speaking to the young DJ, he says his favourite thing about being a DJ is the songs. 

You're more likely to catch DJ Archie listening to his favourite drum and bass, house and garage music than singing a nursery rhyme like most kids his age!

“I love UKG Garage 2 Step & 4x4 beats as well as bouncy bassline riddim's.

I've been watching my daddy mixing since I was 2 years old. One day I decided to sneak into his music room and turn on his decks. He caught me, but he wasn't annoyed as I had managed to get two tracks in time and was mixing it up like my hero's DJ EZ & DJ Q.

​Every day my Daddy teaches me something new. I enjoy changing up the sounds, using the filters to cut the bass and treble.  

At playschool, they asked me to sing nursery rhymes, but I sang "Man's Not Hot" by Big Shaq. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star isn't the kind of old skool I go in for, it's UKG & DNB all the way for me!”

Archie has DJ’d with many industry legends doing sets with MC Neat, Kele Le Roc, Melody, Ragga Twins, Shantie, Dappz, Creed, Heartless crews Bushkin, The grime violinist and Lost Souljah, Tintz and Doni Rampage, Harry Rolla, Joe Fire and BWZ, Flirta D, Hyperactive, Pay as you go cartels Gods Gift, Maxwell D and Plaguealero, Starz and Deeza, Brandon Block, Eddie Craig, Artful Dodger, Rvee, Lego Dan, Chalkie White, Slipmatt, MC DT and Nicky Blackmarket.

Archies TV appearances include This Morning, Britain’s Got Talent and he won the 2019Essex TV Rising Star award.
