Recent DJ residencies at high-profile venues include the only Asian outlet of Ibiza’s #1 super-club Pacha (Macau), Ophelia (Hong Kong), Zuma (Hong Kong), Ozone at the Ritz-Carlton (Hong Kong), Employees Only (Hong Kong).

Regularly travels throughout Asia consulting on background music for renowned bespoke curation agency Music Concierge. Clients include Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Rosewood, Park Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental, Swire Hotels, Intercontinental, St Regis, Cathay Pacific, Lane Crawford, Michelin-starred restaurants and many more.

Directly involved in management as Head Of Music at the Hong Kong outpost of the iconic London nightclub Boujis, runner up of the HKClubbing.com Best Nightclub awards in 2015 (lost to Cubic Macau who have 10xthe budget!). Previous experience includes music management and resident DJ roles at KEE Club and Armani/Bar in Hong Kong.

Extensive touring as an international DJ means he has performed with the best entertainers and experienced diverse F&B concepts in key global destinations such as Singapore, Shanghai, Bangkok, Bali, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, Miami, Frankfurt etc.

Named after one of the most iconic Jazz musicians of the20th Century, it’s not surprising that Miles Slater started DJ’ing at the young age of 15... The year was 1994 and the young Londoner soon graduated to the air waves with a set on one of the city’s long-running pirate radio stations.

Regular bookings at clubs in London and beyond soon followed, plus guest slots on other radio stations. Success in the UK scene wasn’t enough however, and the search for a new challenge led him far away from the streets of London...

Based in Hong Kong since 2005, Miles Slater specialises in Music Directing & DJing at high-end venues throughout Asia where the clientele appreciate fine cuisine and even finer wines, so the music needs to match. Naturally the music policy implemented in these roles closely follows his personal principles as does the level of professionalism exhibited by the team of DJ’s he assembles for each venue.
