Sayce Holmes-Lewis provides strategic counsel, keynotes and cultural insight within the public & private sectors on the importance of community, racial equity and personal development. Sayce has impacted the lives of thousands of young people and their families with his holistic approach and expertise in coaching and mentoring.
As founder and CEO of Mentivity, a mentoring organisation, and alternative education provision, Sayce creates aspirational support systems for young people, schools, families and caregivers across London, Brighton,Barbados, Kenya and Uganda. His passion for youth development is deeply embedded in his personal aspirations. A former professional football player playing in the Republic of Ireland and in Romania, he was called up to represent and captain Barbados for the 2012 Caribbean Cup.
It was during his career that he found his calling for coaching and working with young people. His professional experience includes the extensive coaching, mentoring and nurturing of accomplished athletes such as Jadon Sancho of Manchester United F.C., Reiss Nelson of Arsenal F.C.,Ademola Lookman of Atalanta FC and Tammy Abraham of Roma F.C. as Head Coach of the Southwark London Youth Games Team between 2009 and 2013.
Sayce features in the new hit Netflix docuseries, 'South OfThe River' which explores how 14% of the Premier League’s English-born players came from ten square miles of south London, despite being in the grip of austerity and crime. Sayce launched a brand new 4G football pitch on theAylesbury Estate in November 2022, funded by Reiss Nelson of Arsenal and officially opened by Arsenal legend, Ian Wright for the local community. Sayce also manages the Wall of Entertainment's YouTube football team, The Wall FC, founded by actors Percelle Ascott and Jovian Wade. In November 2022, Sayce won the 'Most Inspirational Person of the Year at the 2022 MBCC Awards inBirmingham for his tireless work with Mentivity.
